Watercolours are magical tools for creativity
Why would you need this kind of magic in your life?

Well, if you've been thinking of creating anything in your sketchbooks or seek to know more about loosening up with watercolours... then you absolutely need a magical wand to paint looser & more expressive
if this rings true, its a triple Yes for you

And if you are trying to wake up your creative muscles... its also a Yes
Are you looking for ways to be more mindful of what you watch & insert to your mind?
Our videos are geared towards inspiring your creativity & enriching your life; especially if you would love to swop some screen time for applying a little practice to create colourful things

There will be days you won't believe you have any creativity whatsoever

Here's a little secret you may not know yet, I taught myself these watercolour skills & can now show you how to easily start expanding into loose watercolours & sketching
At times we all feel like we lack inspiration, or need motivation to open our sketchbooks
Maybe you're afraid you'll need too many things
You won't break the bank with mindful sketchbook practices
Start with a small 12 colour palette like the one above
They are easy to get & build it up with the colours you want
(I could not paint without a bright pink like Opera Rose or Quin. Magenta)
Get the cotton watercolour paper you can afford & make your own sketchbook journal
For brushes, I prefer synthetics as they hold their shape while helping you to regulate the water better

My favourite brushes to use every day are:
-
a water brush is fun to travel with
-
a pointed round can be used for everything
-
a flat brush covers large areas & is very versatile
-
a script liner glides over details & writes your stories
-
and an angled dagger is great for something fancy

the best way to enjoy it is when we need to
Deal with the lemons of life...
watercolours work their magic to help you
Especially helpful if you cannot draw a daisy to save your life
(And if you are an artist planning to paint anything decent, starting with a calmer watercolour sketchbook session before committing to canvas is exactly what will warm you up to your best work)

Whatever your reason for wanting to play with watercolours or turn up the fun a bit more, your creative skills will improve every time you come to your table
